A quick sneak peek of some images from a recent creative portrait shoot in the studio - as I know ‘Miss B’ (and her Mum) can’t wait to see them! ;)

creative portrait / portfolio shoot

September 02nd, 2008 | Category: models, portraits, studio

Yesterday I had the opportunity to shoot a lovely young lady, currently visiting Australia from the UK for a few months.   We had lots of fun coming up with different looks for some creative portraits - trying a variety of outfits from the ‘props’ wardrobe in the studio (which I have been collecting especially for this type of creative portrait session - not just because I like shopping! ;) )    To go with the retro spotted dress, I made up a special background of old LP records to make it a bit more interesting and unique.   Emma was excellent to shoot and great fun - couldn’t believe how fast the time went!   Here is a sneak peek of some of my favs from the session…

Four Elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water

August 25th, 2008 | Category: models, studio

Last Saturday had such a blast working with a group of models, makeup artists and photographers on a Four Elements theme (Earth, Air, Fire and Water).    The makeup artists (Lizzie and Jessica) did a fantastic job on the models, and also Jessie Larcombe made the awesome headpieces for Earth and Fire.   To share some shots from the shoot before I head off down the Gold Coast to the August Exposure photography conference (more on the conference later :) ).
