CanTeen Annual Charity Golf Day 2008
On Wednesday 30th July, the CanTeen organisation held their annual charity Golf Day at Club Pelican, Pelican Waters at the Sunshine Coast - and what a fantastic day (and night)!    Lovely sunny winter weather on a beautiful golf course, with a great group of people getting together to have some golfing fun and raise money for the CanTeen organisation.
I was very pleased to be able to be involved and assist in a small way by donating my time and the photographs of the event to CanTeen - capturing some golfing action shots, photos of the teams participating and then at the charity auction and dinner that night.  It was wonderful to see such a big turn out of people coming along and supporting the event and raising funds for such an excellent organisation, CanTeen www.canteen.org.au .

pregnancy photo shoot with beautiful mother-to-be
I was thrilled to have the opportunity to do a pregnancy photo shoot recently in the studio with beautiful mother-to-be, Bec.   With only two weeks to go, Bec looked absolutely gorgeous - and even though while chatting at the beginning of the session Bec mentioned that she really didn’t like having her photograph taken, we both enjoyed the shoot and couldn’t believe how fast the time went!! lol   So as a bit of a sneak peak and to share some of the lovely images we created here are just some of my favs from the shoot (it was really hard to narrow it down to just these!) ;)    Wishing Bec all the very best for the birth - and am looking forward to our next shoot together after baby arrives . . .

Sydney - last stop on the tour
Sydney, NSW was the last stop on the tour before we head homeward bound.  Four days in Sydney were mainly taken up with working on the project with not a lot of free time to explore - and the few moments of spare time, unfortunately the inclement weather was not inspirational for photo opportunities.   However on the last night we all went out to dinner to a restaurant at the Italian Forum - some fab italian food and interesting things to look at in the windows of the boutiques in the arcade.   One of the boutiques in the arcade was this amazing little place with Italian and Venetian masks, ornaments etc - would have loved to have gone back during the day when the shop was open to have a closer look (especially for some interesting props for the studio).   However had to be content to just ’window shop’! ;)

Even though it is great to travel and see different places and things - there is nothing quite like the simple pleasures of home - like sleeping in your own bed and being with family and friends :)Â Â Now the tour is over, so looking forward to being homeward bound!
