Baby “S” portraits

September 23rd, 2008 | Category: portraits, studio

Little baby “S” was such a cutey to photograph in the studio recently!   It was only about 3 months ago that I photographed her lovely mother for some pregnancy portraits.   I always enjoy the opportunity to meet and photograph baby after they transform from being a beautiful ‘bump’ to a personality of their own after they are born :)    Baby “S” was quite happy to lay back and have her portrait taken (of course with a few milk top ups in between) - we had hoped to get some sleeping baby shots, but there was no way “S” was going to miss out on any of the action of her very own portrait shoot! lol

final portrait shots from NZ before we head home to AUS

September 13th, 2008 | Category: portraits

Today was our last full day in NZ before heading home, spending an enjoyable day with all the family and friends and having a hangi for dinner.

I took quite a number of photographs today, but to share just a couple of favourite ones of my niece “Miss T” - as I had promised to photograph her in her ‘cinderella’ dress before I left.

We had fun out on the lawn chatting and taking shots - and her giving me an animated account of when she went to see ‘Cinderella on Ice’ - of course complete with twirling demonstrations ;)

special moments between mother and son

September 08th, 2008 | Category: portraits

I really enjoy photographing many different styles of people / portrait photography, but what I truly love is capturing the special moments of interaction when the people being photographed are being their natural selves and not aware of the camera at all.    I was so very happy to capture some beautiful moments between my lovely niece ”J” and son “L” yesterday at a family gathering whilst on holidays here in NZ. :)
