relaxed natural family portraits
We started out with the shoot location planned for the beach at Wellington Point, early on Saturday morning - but the weather was not going to be co-operative with quite a gale wind blowing up out of no where!  So we decided to relocate to the second location we had picked out, where it was protected from the wind - and it turned out to be a beautiful setting to photograph some very natural family portraits of a truly lovely family.  Â
I love being able to photograph family time together - and to capture moments that can be looked back on with a smile in years to come. Like the photographs below of: adorable little Miss “T”; then with her two young Uncles looking at the ducks at the waters edge; and with her beautiful grandmother, Jodie (for who this portrait session was a special 40th birthday gift from friends :) )

special night portrait - school formal
End of school formals - which can be such a fun and exciting time for our teenagers, especially the young ladies in their beautiful dresses, having their hair and makeup done - so different from the end of school dances I went to! lol
It was time for a quick studio shoot for the now glamorous Miss “B”, whose Mum had arranged the photographic session, before heading off to the special night in the city.   We all had some fun playing around with poses  ;)

play time fun in the backyard
On the weekend I had an enjoyable time photographing two little girls, Miss “S” and Miss “L” whilst they played in their backyard (and ate gingerbread man cookies ;) - we all had a laugh watching their antics and them just being themselves! lol  I previously had photographed the girls almost a year ago in the studio, and it is amazing how much they have changed in such a short space of time, especially the little one developing her own personality and character. To share a “sneak peek” of some images from the shoot . . .
